SUGAR BABY
In 2009, after taking a break from playing in my rock band for 3 years, I decided to give acting and film a real go. I signed up for acting classes at a local studio in January of 2009 and by May, I was shooting a film in Calcutta, India. I had never been out of the country and, had never filmed a movie. This would be a first for both. It was an exhilarating experience, seeing a completely foreign land, making a film, and dedicating myself to the work. I enjoyed every aspect of it, from the rehearsals, to the execution on set, to celebrating the finish after all the gears in the machine had turned to make the film a final product. It was my first role, and Iām forever grateful for that experience. I got two for the price of one, a feature film, and a passport with a unique stamp on it. After that experience, I said wow, this is the place I want to be. It was creative but, it was work. It was fun but, it was professional. This is where I took my first step into the film world in a professional way.
